Spring heat brings rockfish and drum to the Bay Bridge Tunnel. Light-tackle action ramps up fast.
Summer
June – August
Peak season — cobia on the surface, spanish mackerel in close, and canyon pelagics go off offshore.
Fall

Bull reds and big rockfish return to the Bay; tuna bite stays hot offshore through early fall.
Winter
December – February
Slower but solid — rockfish and tautog on the calmer days when weather lets us run out.

We try to get with this spectacular crew each year if not more!! Ryan goes above and beyond to be sure he gives you the best fishing experience ever. His first mate, CJ, is a blessing. He is so kind and socializes with everyone and is hands on and explains all aspects of the fishing excursion. The best part, if time allows, is when the Captain prepares some amazing treats with the catch of the day! The stories and memories made on this vessel is truly an amazing experience and a memory to treasure. Make sure you listen to some great music too highly, highly recommend this one-of-a-kind Captain and crew. You will not be disappointed. A forever client
Ryan & CJ were awesome. Just very down to earth, no BS kind of guys. I called Ryan before I even booked a trip, asked him a bunch of questions and he was very responsive and upfront about everything. There was a misunderstanding on the price because I could not find the price for a 6 hour wreck seabass fishing, but we ironed it all out. During the trip, Ryan and CJ were very attentive, having great conversations with us while also getting the lines all ready and seeing when the fishes bit. We caught 18 fish! It was awesome! They were also very attentive to my little girl and wife, making sure they were safe and having a great time. Very personable and down to earth too.
Capt Ryan and mate CJ were fantastic. We got on some fish as the sky was beginning to lighten and tried their best to get us on our target fish of Mahi which we got 8 of. Super laid back, willing to answer questions, and up front about needing to adjust plans. CJ was great about explaining what fish are looking for and how to target them. Even let my kids and their friends take a swim call in the middle of everything. Highly recommend.
